In a moment I was born
In a moment I started crawling and sooner or later I begun to walk and
run
In a moment I was in a crèche, then to a nursery school, a primary
school and finally JSS
In a moment I was sitting in a certain bushy, reptile prone secondary
school writing the so called BECE
I thought it was all over for me
But! It was not over yet
In a moment I was in a senior secondary school and in a twinkle of an
eye
I was out of that peer pressure prone school, anxiously waiting for my
results
I couldn’t wait patiently; I was awake most nights thinking of my
results
It finally came and in a moment I found myself in one of Ghana’s
universities
Soon I was out of the universal world!
Where a lot went on
In a moment I was in the bigger world, looking for a well paid white
collar job
But to my amazement, there is nothing like a well paid white collar
job!
In a moment, I was so happy, because I found a woman, yes a woman!
She became my wife and mother of my children
Being a father and a husband is no joke!
Soon, oh! So soon, I was gone!
Reflecting on the journey of life, I asked myself,
Why is life so short!
Everything happens in a moment!
