When Love Gets Scary
I want to tell my story
When I met this lady
She was so charming
Adorable, Gorgeous, Sparkling!
She possessed everything
A man would desire
Beauty, respect, wisdom!
I could toss and turn on my bed at nights
Not because of a nightmare
But the thoughts of this beauty kept me awake
Night on end
I will sit dreaming
Whiles others dream in their sleep
I was dreaming with my eyes wide open
I over worked my heart and eyes
They went beyond their normal working hours
I denied them rest for the sake of one beauty!
Everything about me changed
It was hard for me to realise,
I was walking in the shadows of a fanthom.
I was full or smiles
I looked forward to daybreak every night
So i could be with "my love"
I was living in my own imaginary world
Created by this new "love"
A world no one could live in
Except two souls living in an imaginary one body
A world that could not stand the test of time
Everything happened in a flash
Soon the centre could no longer hold
Love was gradually getting scary
