THE UNINVITED GUEST

Have you ever received an uninvited guest?
He comes in when uninvited
He does not announce
When he will come
He does not call
He does not send a text message
He does not even send a whats-app or viber message

We all know
He will one day visit
When he will visit
How he will visit
We cannot tell

He is an uninvited guest
In every home
In the home of the rich
And in the home of the poor

He is a guest
At every occasion
Whether invited or not

He enters every meeting at will
In boardroom
In the church
In the mosque
In the school
In the classroom
And even in the market place
And I mean everywhere
He is just not invited in any home.
Death stay away
Next time!
Please!
Please!
And please again!
Announce your coming.

Very sad ! Komla
You opened your door to this uninvited guest.
Sorry!
Sorry!
Sorry!

EVERYTHING I DO, ETERNITY FIRST!

1
How well have you considered God and eternity
In all your plans and aspirations
Have you considered God and eternity
In the church you where you want to worship

The marriage plans
How well have you considered God and eternity
Would it glorify God!

That career you are pursuing
How well that is fit into God’s plan for you
Have you considered God and eternity

That school you want to attend
Would it help you glorify God
Have you considered God and eternity

The ministry you are pursuing
Have you considered whether
It is God’s divine purpose for your life

The friends you keep
The places you visit together
The chats you have
The parties you attend
Have you considered God and eternity

That business
Yes!
That business, is it God’s plan
Would it honour God
That business contract
That bribe you are paying
Have you considered God eternity

That board
You want to join by force
That position you are killing to get
And killing to keep
Is that God’s way
Have you considered God and eternity

That relationship!
Yes! That relationship
With the gentleman
With that young woman
With that manager
For that money
For that car
Is that the way of God!

In everything you do considered eternity first!
God first!

The worst prison with maximum security a man can put himself in, is the prison of HATRED and UNFORGIVENESS.

You might think you are free and going about your normal daily duties but as long as you harbor hatred and unforgiveness  in your heart, mind and spirit, you are a prisoner in a maximum security facility.

You do not harm anyone by your hatred and unforgiving heart. No one has ever increased in wisdom, wealth and worth by living an unforgiving life.

Hatred blinds you from seeing good in other people. Many have died because they could not forgive the slightest provocation and offense.

May you not tread the path of HATRED and UNFORGIVENESS.

You need a sound heart and a sound mind to live a sound life.

YOU ARE BREATH TAKING!

Your eyes are so charming
I can't stop watching
Your beauty is breath taking
Men gasp for more breath
When you walk past them
You attract every available attention
Where ever your presence is

Your eyeballs
Are like freshly
Polished pebbles
Like smooth pearls
From the bottom of the sea.

Your steps
Are immaculately calculated

You are well adorned with costly apparels
Your choice of colours
Reveals your taste for undying beauty

Your are breath taking!

FREEDOM

Freedom comes to those who forgive

No matter how free you are
You are never free until you forgive
You are never free until you let go of that pain
You are never free until you let of the past
The past is a cancelled cheque
You can never cash it anywhere in any bank

Freedom will come to you
When you forgive
Freedom is knocking on your door
Waiting for you to forgive

Your forgiveness will open the door to freedom.
Forgive

MY DEFINITION

MY DEFINITION
I have come across many definitions of the African woman
Many have bordered around the colour of the African woman
Many songs have been sung
To glorify the colour of the African woman
Many more poems have been written
To sing the praises of the colour of the African woman
There have been many more paintings and sculptures about the colour of the African
Than one can think of
The gorgeous attire of the African woman
In many colours have never escaped
The eyes and imaginations of many writers, poets and artists
In every sense and breadth
The African woman is an epitome of modern beauty and style
Her gorgeous and well calculated steps are mesmerizing
Her body shape and contours are breadth taking
They leave men gasping for more oxygen
The beauty of her eyes depicts the fineness of the African rich precious diamond
The outlook and presence of the African woman attracts
All available attention
My definition of the African woman:
The heart of Africa
The quintessence of beauty
The motherhood of Africa
The pride of Africa
The African woman that has the heart
The size of the worlds’ ocean
Big enough to accommodate the biggest creatures
She accommodates variety without confusion
A heart of orderliness
The African woman has a heart
As refined as emerald
As tough as diamond
As smooth as pearls
From the bottom of the sea
The African woman indeed has a heart of gold
Kind and tender,
Ever loving
My sweet African woman!
