CALL ON GOD

 

When you are down

Woke up sad

And it seems

The day is going to be bad

Call upon God

 

When you go to work

And your boss is making work for you unbearable

Your colleagues at work

Are being unapproachable and unfriendly

Call upon God

 

When that marriage

Is taking your life away

Your spouse has become something

Someone you never imagined

When your children are going wayward

And you have sleepless nights

With wet pillows

Before you talk to that friend in the office

That counselor down the road

Before you take the phone

And call your parents

Lock yourself up in your closet

And cry unto God

Call upon God

Until He answers

Don’t come out of your closet

Call upon God

 

When that fiancé or fiancée

Who has promised to marry you!

Keeps cheating on you

And treating you with disdain

Come out of that emotional

Love blind blanket

Watch and pray

Call upon God

 

When life has become so difficult

You cannot make two ends meet

Everything your hand finds doing crumbles

You seem not to succeed at anything you do

Move out of that crowd

Move away from the grumblers and complainers

Make a plea to your maker

Call upon God

Never give up

Keep praying, keep working

The light will surely shine again

After the heavy rains

And the thick darkness

Keep praying

Keep trusting God

And keep believing!

DON'T STOP RUNNING

I wish I could stop and take a break. 

I wish there was not race to run in the first place. 

I wish I could hire someone to run for me. 

I wish I could change tracks. 

I feel tired often 

I ask why I can't just stop running

I see no one running after me 

Yet I can't stop running 

Run! Run! Run!

Run until you win

Is all I hear 

Tired but can't stop 

Wounded but can't give up 

Sweating but can't stop

Gasping for breath but can't stop 

I want to give up 

But I have to keep running 

The race is tough 

I am exhausted 

But I have to keep running 

The crown is at the end of the race... 

WELL DONE!

Well done my Son!

Will you work receive,

A Well Done?

Instead of focusing on your past,

Focus on your future

Instead of focusing on what you don’t have

Focus on what you have

Instead of focusing on the failures of yesterday

Hope in the success of tomorrow

Why keep your eyes fixed on the problem

When you can actually work out the solution

Why do you keep going to those who hurt you

When a million are out there with open arms to receive you with warmth

Why do focus of those who speak ill about you

When others are waiting to tell the world of your exploits

Stop focusing on the law

Start focusing on Jesus

Stop focusing on your weakness

Start focusing on the strength on Jesus

Stop focusing on hatred, bitterness and anger

Start focus on love, forgiveness and peace of mind

Stop focusing on your inadequacies

Start focusing on God’s grace

Stop focusing on the trouble around

Start focusing on your inner peace and joy.

Instead focusing on your lack

Start focusing on the other side where there is abundance

There is joy in work

Look for it

There is peace in your heart

Search for it.

There is pleasure in togetherness

Patience! Patience! Patience!

When you go to the ATM, you have the patience to wait for the money.

When you write an EXAM you have the patience to wait for the results.

When you put FOOD ON FIRE, you have the patience to wait for it to get cooked.

You have the patience TO SIT IN THE SALOON  to get your hair done.

You have patience TO SIT IN A CAR to get to your destination.

There are a lot more things you really wait for to get done.

So when you PRAY, wait patiently for the ANSWER.

When you start a business, work patiently before you expect huge returns and a luxurious lifestyle.

When you plant a seed, wait patiently for it to grow and bear GOOD fruit.

It pays to wait.
