I
scream and shout, with all my might,
But
silence echoes through the night,
No
ears to hear my wretched pain,
No
hands to help me break the chain.
I
beg and plead, for some relief,
But
all around is disbelief,
No
eyes to see the tears I shed,
No
warmth to ease the ice-cold dread.
I
fight and struggle, to be free,
But
every effort's vanity,
No
voice to lend me sympathy,
No
soul to share my empathy.
The
agony, it grips my heart,
It
tears my soul, and rips apart,
No
mercy shown, no love bestowed,
Just
emptiness, an endless road.
So
here I stand, alone and lost,
My
screams now just a useless cost,
No
end in sight, no hope to find,
Just
loud silence, to haunt my mind.
